EHM, originally Expert House Movers Inc., began house moving on the East Coast in the early 1950s. When Big John Matyiko, Sr. started moving houses in the early 50’s, he created a family of movers and lifters that would cross generations up to now. After the Great Flood of 1993, the Matyikos arrived in the Midwest and set up operations in the St. Louis area.
We relocated three entire towns out of the flood plains along with other notable projects around the St. Louis area and Midwest. After over 20 years of guidance, Joseph Matyiko, Sr. passed away and John P. Matyiko and his wife, Mary, continued operations with EHM.
